CIGNA HealthCare has launched a new private medical insurance (PMI) product, specifically aimed at sole traders and small businesses.
The new product, SmartHealth, is a flexible healthcare plan that al-lows customers to choose benefits depending on their preferences.
Key benefits include £100 optical cash benefit, access to CIGNA's diabetes programme as well as access to the provider's stress helpline and up to six free sessions of coun-selling where needed. Firms wishing to save money could opt to remove one or more of the benefits or cap out-patient benefits at £1,200.
