Scottish Equitable has launched an online tracker facility for group protection policies. Advisers can use a secure website to track claims, in a bid to make it faster and easier for advisers and employers to administer policies. The insurer said the new device would be particularly useful for group income protection (IP) cases as it would allow employers and advisers to track developments such as diagnosis of illness, rehabilitation and return to work. Head of employee benefits marketing, Simon Bailey, said: "This new facility will make a real difference to advisers and employers where employees are undergoing rehabilitation."
