Zurich Advice Network has threatened to dismiss its advisers over selling other companies products through non-regulated networks.
In a memo Zurich warned its advisers with a franchise that if their activities compromised Zurich's reputation their contracts would be terminated. It also asked advisers to tell clients in writing they were not representing the network when transacting business of this kind.
