Scientist and broadcaster Lord Robert Winston is to open this year's AMII conference.

Lord Winston, best known for presenting television programmes The Human Body and Child of our Time, will present the keynote opening address that will get the conference underway at the Hotel Ibis in London's Earl's Court on 15 June. COVER is the official media partner of the event.

The Labour peer is set to examine the part science will play in tomorrow's business world with a particular focus on the influence it might have on the future of healthcare provision and insurance.

The conference, called Smarter, Fitter, Stronger, will see delegates enjoy a full day of industry-focused conference sessions and presentations by guest speakers, details of which will be released shortly.

Between sessions, a wide variety of health insurance providers and associated businesses will be exhibiting, giving delegates the opportunity to keep abreast of the latest developments in products and services.

The conference will be preceded by an evening reception and dinner in the exhibition hall at the Hotel Ibis on the night of 14 June, meaning delegates will be able to network in a more relaxed setting.

The conference is open to AMII members and non-members.

For more information about the event, or for details of how to exhibit, visit www.campaignpartners.co.uk/amii.
