Fiona Wynn, head of protection proposition, Royal London
Royal London has appointed Legal & General’s Fiona Wynn as its head of protection proposition to support its growth plans, which are focused on the high net worth and business protection space.
Previously, Wynn was head of products within Legal & General's retail protection division.
She will bring a "strong" background in end-to-end proposition development and customer engagement to the role, including experience within reinsurance.
Wynn will work alongside Mark Preston, Royal London's newly appointed service delivery manager, to support advisers and to ensure the mutual continues to enhance its overall proposition, including its high net worth offering.
Most recently, Preston supported Aegon UK's individual protection business and he will join Royal London later this year. He has experience as a technical underwriter and operational manager, with specialist knowledge of medical and financial underwriting to develop underwriting propositions.
Carrie Johnson, protection director, Royal London: "We have a clear ambition to continue to strengthen our position in the protection market and we welcome them both on board to help shape the future development of our value proposition."
