CIExpert, UnderwriteMe join forces on 'one of a kind' integration

Critical illness comparison service CIExpert has announced a “breakthrough integration” with technology provider UnderWriteMe’s Protection Platform, aimed at helping advisers to meet obligations set by the Consumer Duty.

CIExpert stated the integration gives advisers the capability to "to visualise and quantify the balance between quality of CIC and cost" by using fully underwritten premiums, meaning advisers are assessing ‘fair value' and best outcomes as detailed in the Consumer Duty guidelines. Advisers using the UnderwriteMe platform will be able to transfer client data, underwriting decisions, and both standard and underwritten premiums through to CIExpert via a personalised predictive analysis to produce a bespoke and compliant comparison.
