On day one of Income Protection Awareness Week 2023 (IPAW), Premier Plus’ Hanna McKallip and Home Mortgage Solution’s Kate Stratton discussed how they have approached establishing a career in advice and the importance of obtaining leads.

Establishing a presence in the protection advice sector can be daunting prospect, specifically when it comes to developing a client base and brand when self-employed. However, both McKallip and Stratton explained there are ways to achieve these objectives and grow take-up of income protection at the same time.
