The first mutual insurance company in the UK to receive Chartered status from the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), Cornish Mutual, has retained its status for its sixth consecutive year. To qualify insurers must surpass the CII's benchmarks for professionalism and capability, as well as committing to the organisation's code of ethics.
