Healix records 200% rise in GP appointments via workplace

Healix has recorded a 200% increase in the number of GP appointments taken up by employees through their workplace since 2021.

The healthcare trust provider noted that an increasing number of workers have turned to their employer to access a private GP as NHS waiting lists reach record levels. Healix recorded a 70% increase in the uptake of GP appointments since October 2022.  Ian Talbot, chief executive at Healix, said that firm is also seeing demand soar for quick intervention and the convenience of remote GP services, while the number of people seeking a referral for hospital treatment via their employers has also increased.
