Julian Marr

Julian Marr is editor of Professional Adviser, the news, analysis and opinion website for UK financial advisers. His career as an investment journalist, writer and conference moderator now spans 20 years, including eight years as editorial director of marketing, communications and better-business resource Adviser-Hub.

This is his second stint with Incisive Media, where between 2000 and 2008, he was editor and then publisher of consumer finance title Bloomberg Money and then editorial director of the firm's  Investment Division, including Investment Week and Professional Pensions.

He is co-author, with Cherry Reynard, of Investing in Emerging Markets - the BRIC economies and beyond, published by John Wiley & Sons in 2009, and was once a solicitor - although that really was a very long time ago.
