WHCA is now Orchard Healthcare, with a new website being launched along with the rebrand of the Worcester based cashplan provider.

The mutual offers 50% cashback on core healthcare benefits such as dental and optical up to a maximum of £150, with physiotherapy or osteopathy covered up to a £550 maximum.

Michael Hardiman, chairman of Orchard Healthcare said: "For nearly 100 years we have marketed ourselves as the WHCA (Worcester Hospital Contributors Association) the organisation originally set up to collect money to finance hospitals in the pre NHS days so many years ago.

"In order to project a more contemporary image which better reflects the organisation today we have rebranded ourselves as Orchard Healthcare supporting the launch with a new website.

"Orchard Healthcare continues to offer employers an affordable way to look after their staff through a range of health cash plans."
