LifeSearch and Gocompare.com have formed a business tie-in.

The partnership will mean Gocompare.com's users receive protection advice from phone-based advisers at LifeSearch.

John Miles, business development director at Gocompare.com, said: "Protection is a complicated area, with so many different types and levels of cover available, so we are pleased to be able to give our customers the opportunity to speak to a real person and get free, independent advice."

Gocompare.com customers who buy policies through LifeSearch will also benefit from advice on setting up trusts and will get free access to LifeSearch's claims desk.

Tom Baigrie, chief executive at LifeSearch, said: "We are pleased to be working with a prestigious brand like Gocompare.com. This exciting new partnership ensures that more people than ever have access to quality financial advice."
