The Association of Medical Insurance Intermediaries (AMII) has announced the final details for its annual conference at the Hotel Ibis in Earl's Court on 15 June.
Scientist and broadcaster Lord Robert Winston will open the event by discussing science and its impact on the future of healthcare provision and insurance, while Olympic athlete and TV presenter Roger Black will be making the closing remarks with a talk on how to be more successful as an individual and as a team.
Alongside the sessions for all delegates, who do not have to be AMII members to attend, will also be able to attend two industry seminars, which will focus on some of the main issues facing today's intermediaries.
Sessions will include a talk by AXA PPP Healthcare's medical director, Dr David Costain, on the challenges of cancer care, and a speech by Neil Armitage, marketing director of Exeter Friendly Society, on how to interpret the FSA's Treating Customers Fairly initiative.
Derek Findlayson, head of Partnership & Healthcare Solutions, and Ken Hutchinson, e-business trading manager at Groupama Healthcare, will outline the benefits of doing business online.
