Perceived importance aside, if people did consider protection, what would they be prepared to pay for any cover they might buy? Do people have realistic expectations of cost? Well, it seems the public is not prepared to dig deep; most people are only willing to pay up to £20 a month for life insurance, with only PMI higher, at up to £30 a month.
