Omnilife launches 'improved' group CI contract

Omnilife has launched an 'improved' group critical illness contract which covers conditions including cardiac arrest and terminal illness, COVER can exclusively reveal.

The insurer said it decided to launch the product after 15% growth in the numbers of people covered in the group CI market in 2015. The new contract increases their amount of conditions covered to 37 when additional conditions are selected. New conditions include cardiac arrest, terminal illness and benign brain tumour. Other major changes include the survival period decreasing from 30 days to 14 days in line with other insurers in the group CI market. The new conditions will be available to all new business, and all existing business will revert to the new terms upon renewal. ...
