Third of employers struggle with health and wellbeing support affordability

New research has found that affordability is the biggest challenge for one third of employers (30%) in supporting the health and wellbeing of staff members.

Group risk industry body Group Risk Development (GRiD) surveyed 503 HR decision-makers and found that affordability competed with budget for other business needs as the biggest challenge for offering this support. Nearly half (45%) of employers surveyed did not measure the impact of their health and wellbeing support. Of the 51% of employers that did, 98% said the health and wellbeing support it offers had a positive impact on the business.
