UnderwriteMe's Shanti Duggal relinquishes management roles

Shanti Duggal, the chief operating officer of UnderwriteMe, is taking a step back within the technology firm to work on a consultancy basis as he moves towards retirement.

Duggal has resigned as director of UnderwriteMe and as full-time chief operating officer. However, he will work for the firm on a part-time basis as a consultant and is still a shareholder in the firm.  The firm said it hopes to announce a chief operating officer in the coming weeks. Duggal had been with the company since its inception in 2014, after previously holding roles at Friends Provident and Ageas Protect.
