AMII unveils new website

The Association of Medical Insurance Intermediaries (AMII) has launched a new website.

It includes a find a broker section that allows the public to search for members specialising in the type of private medical insurance product (domestic or international) they are looking for.

Other sections include information on what health insurance is, the benefits of getting independent advice, why individuals should use a member and a glossary of private medical insurance terms.

In launching the site, Andrew Tripp, chairman of AMII, said: "The consumer focus of the new website really supports health insurance intermediaries in providing generic and useful information for potential clients.

"For brokers themselves the site also includes details of membership benefits and an application form to join. And AMII members benefit from a free listing in the find a broker section of the site, which will hopefully drive enquiries to their firms."
