Premium income rose by 11% and 103,000 members attracted over the course of last year
Health Shield has announced its 2017 full-year financials, including claims stats which revealed that 94.8% were paid last year. An 11% rise in premium income and an 11% rise in total members covered - to 311,000 - reflects two acquisitions - of health screening and occupational health company Prevent, and provider of PMI excesses and shortfalls, Medex Protect - during that year.
