Protection veteran snapped up as adviser development manager

Rob Carr has ended his brief period of retirement to join Guardian FS as adviser development manager - he starts the position next week. The insurer, which was acquired by Gryphon Group Holding in December of last year, is currently piloting its proposition before rolling it out towards the end of August. "I retired in April, but when Andy Peters and Mike Devaney approached me about doing something really interesting and new with Guardian I just couldn't say no," said Carr.
