She replaces Steve Burke who is now special adviser at the firm
Founding member of Intrinsic Jenny Granner joined the business in 2005.
In her new role as operations director she will report to CEO Andy Thompson alongside her predecessor Steve Burke, who started at Intrinsic in 2015. He has been appointed special adviser to focus on adviser technology.
Granner is now responsible for operations delivery, compliance systems and adviser oversight. Before joining Intrinsic, she worked at Allied Dunbar and Zurich Financial Services.
"Jenny has been with the business since the beginning making her particularly attuned to what our advisers and their clients need. Her knowledge and experience will give her a fast start as our new operations director," said Andy Thompson.
"I am grateful for Steve's contribution to Intrinsic. His insight, experience and drive have been fundamental to ensure that we are ready for the next stage in our journey and we're thrilled he will be part of it."
Jenny Granner, meanwhile, added: "I'm really excited to be taking on this new role. Operations play a crucial role in everything we do at Intrinsic. With demands for advice surging, advisers need our support to give swift and accurate advice to their customers.
"We are in a constantly changing regulatory environment and advisers rely on us to cut through the noise and keep our systems and processes up to date so they can continue to do what they do best, give high quality face-to-face advice that leads to good customer outcomes."
