Over half (54%) of employee benefits specialists say they 'don't know' what the top three health and wellbeing priorities are for their employees despite 81% having a health and wellbeing strategy in place, according to Simplyhealth.
The research also revealed that health cash plans have soared in popularity as 41% of employers offer the benefit to employees, an increase of 18 percentage points since 2016. This is compared to private medical insurance (PMI) which has decreased in attractiveness by 14 percentage points over the last year to being offered by just 29% of employers in 2017, Simplyhealth said.
