National Friendly urges healthcare brokers to 'protect' clients from NHS delays

National Friendly is encouraging healthcare brokers to 'ensure their clients are adequately protected in the face of rising NHS delays and potential GP practice closures.'

The insurer said that private medical insurance (PMI) plays an important role alongside the NHS, as it provides quick access to high-quality healthcare for shorter-term, curable illnesses that can take a back seat to chronic ailments which fall to the health service to manage.
