Jelf announces AE integrated with group risk and healthcare

Jelf Employee benefits has launched a new auto-enrolment package which includes healthcare and group risk.

Extra benefits with the new service, Jelf AEase, include healthcare, group risk and management liability insurance at no extra charge.

The service is designed to meet all the requirements of the new auto-enrolment scheme with a review of extra employee benefits included. Jelf Insurance brokers will provide part of the offering, to provide companies with a "one-stop-shop" to guide them through auto-enrolment and improve their employee benefits package.

The National Employment Savings Trust (NEST) organises many auto- enrolment schemes at present.

Jon Baker, head of marketing - financial services at Jelf Employee Benefits said: "We honed our AE service from helping some of the UK's largest employers stage; and since launching Jelf AEase to SMEs we've learnt what's really of value to smaller companies.

"Clients have told us that they value the efficiency of sourcing benefits from a single trusted adviser and Jelf is in a perfect position to offer this. The upgraded Jelf AEase will help them efficiently meet their AE obligations, protect their directors and widen their employee benefits offering to retain and attract talent."

He added: "Companies might expect NEST to do everything for them but the pension scheme is only part of the equation; it still leaves them with decisions, communications and processes to sort out. Jelf AEase gives smaller companies the practical help and reassurance they really need to get their company through AE.

"We've launched this upgraded service now because preparation is key, and we can't emphasise to employers enough how much time the preparation can take. The message to small companies is clear: start preparing now, we're ready for you."
