Group Risk Connect, the online adviser software to generate and administer group quote data, has improved its system's abilities and announced a new insurance partner.
Following initial feedback Group Risk Connect has now included the ability to manage mid-year changes to eligibility, medical underwriting and claims. It has also put in place a portable Group Life Master Trust.
Lee Watson, director of GR Connect, said: "As this is not dictated by the holding insurer, I think this will particularly attractive to advisors who don't want the responsibility of maintaining a trust or advising when this might need to be changed."
Group Risk Connect also announced RAM as a new partner and that it is in talks with a further two.
RAM joins Friends Life, Generali, Legal & General, Omnilife, Risk Assurance Management and Zurich Life
Richard Ashley-Davies, business development director at RAM, said: " RAM is delighted to be partnering with Group Risk Connect.
The system is very easy to use; it encourages and assists IFA's to consistently provide complete and accurate information, helping to facilitate quicker turnaround times, improved terms and competitive rates. It's win-win for the Group Risk market."
