Earlier this week we published the details of the Association of British Insurer's (ABI) ‘Guide To Minimum Standards for Critical Illness Cover', which saw the removal of HIV and terminal illness as model definitions, exclusion of early stage thyroid cancer and adaptation of "loss of hand or foot" to one limb rather than two.
