The Association of Medical Insurers and Intermediaries (AMII)'s AGM saw the launch of a petition to lobby government against the forthcoming rise in Insurance Premium Tax (IPT) and its ‘potentially catastrophic impact'. In his opening address at the event held at Whittlebury Hall in Northamptonshire, Stuart Scullion, chairman of AMII [pictured] said: "We need to attract 100,000 signatures for the topic to be debated in Parliament, which we must achieve within 6 months of starting the petition....
