Why protection advisers should discuss awareness months with clients

October marked Breast Cancer Awareness month, and whilst it is a sensitive topic that is difficult to discuss, it is a conversation that needs to happen and must be tackled head on, writes Steve Berry.

National awareness campaigns provide an excellent opportunity for advisers to start having these difficult conversations with clients. Not only do they bring the topic into the public's consciousness, but they are also an effective means of educating people on the realities of these illnesses.
