Dental insurance is often rated as one of the top three employee wellbeing benefits - and one of the most frequently used.

With Dental Care, members have telephone access to dental nurses to help with any dental health worries. They can also obtain information about how to maintain good dental health through an online dental health centre and benefit from a choice of any dentist - NHS or private.

Whether offered through a flexible benefit platform, provided to all employees or available on a voluntary basis, Dental Care offers a choice of six cover level ranges of staged reimbursements-per-treatment.

There are eight key benefits of Dental Care:

• Choice of dentist - employees can have their treatment with any dentist, whether they're private or NHS-registered.

• No dental checks before joining . AXA PPP healthcare even covers planned and pending treatment.

• Mouth cancer cover - AXA PPP healthcare will pay for treatment and medication up to an overall annual maximum of £10,000 should an employee be diagnosed with mouth cancer.

• Pre-existing conditions covered (excluding mouth cancer) - ensuring even employees with existing problems with their teeth are eligible for maximum cover.

• Worldwide cover - AXA PPP healthcare will reimburse towards the cost of employees' routine check-ups and emergency treatment anywhere in the world should they have an accident, a tooth ache or if a filling comes lose. Employees can choose to go abroad to have their treatment if they prefer.
